We are being told that things are moving VERY slowly in the Congo. The new elections closed all the offices down for a while and now during the holidays, the offices will close again. So, needless to say, the judge will not be working on any of the cases. Please be praying that God will be with the judge and all of the people that work very hard for these children. There are many children in the orphanage that have families who are just waiting for their cases to be approved and move through the courts. Then the families will be able to travel to pick up their children to take them home!!
Even though things are going slowly, our case worker said we did move up a spot!! We are now #17!!
Also, we had a successful pancake breakfast, bringing in over $1500!! We still have a way to go before we reach our goal, but we are so thankful for the awesome support from family and friends!! We are in this together!! Love you, my friends!
